Evaluation of the PROMIS Upper Extremity Against Validated Patient-Reported Outcomes in Patients With Early Carpometacarpal Osteoarthritis
Internal consistency, construct, and criterion validity of the Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System (PROMIS) upper extremity (UE) v1.2 were evaluated in patients with early-stage carpometacarpal (CMC) osteoarthritis (OA). Our primary null hypothesis was that insurance type would not be associated with Patient-Reported Outcomes Measure Information System (PROMIS) Upper-Extremity (UE), Physical Function (PF), Pain Interference (PI), and Depression scores at the preoperative visit before carpal tunnel release (CTR).
