Roman, Marble (circa 2nd Century AD)
A well-figured hand holding a cup, broken off a statue. Ancient marble fragments, although more commonly seen than bronze, frequently are missing parts or damaged due to the material itself. Finding complete fragments in good condition is relatively uncommon.
