Abstract
Injuries to the triangular fibrocartilage complex are a common cause of wrist pain.
Debridement of this structure has been the historical treatment of choice. Recent
surgical advances have made repair of this structure an option. An arthroscopic technique
that uses equipment commonly available in the operating room to repair Palmer 1D tears
is presented. A retrospective review of these patients shows 79% good or excellent
results after this procedure. Copyright © 2001 by the American Society for Surgery
