Incidence and Reasons for Hardware Removal Following Operative Fixation of Distal Radius Fractures

Level 4 Evidence
      Despite advancements in both plate design and surgical technique, some patients may still require implant removal following operative fixation of their distal radius fractures. Our hypothesis is that the primary reason for plate removal is pain secondary to tendon dysfunction.
