The symbol of the hand stands for power, acting, and omnipotence. The symbol of the eye stands for sense, knowledge, observation, and omniscience. The functions of the eye and hand are interactively bonded. These 2 essential human organs are conceptually integrated and illustrated on a stamp from Belgium (Fig. 1).
